Don’t have plans this weekend? Timoti’s has the answer! From noon until 8:00 on February 9th, we’ll be joining more than 40 vendors of the Jacksonville Food & Wine Festival for a huge celebration of local food, wine, music, and art. Held under the Fuller Warren Bridge in the beautiful and historic neighborhood of Riverside, this community event is free to enter. Can’t-miss event? We think yes.
Grab a Cup of Seafood Stew
Spot Timoti’s at the festival to grab a cup of our classic Seafood Stew. As with all of our menu items, this hearty soup is full of both wild-caught fish and flavor. Mixed in a rich tomato base, this stew is a great healthy addition to the smorgasbord of items available at the festival. We personally enjoy this stew paired with a light red wine – but a good beer is always great too!
About Jacksonville Food & Wine Festival
This year’s festival is the first to be held in Jacksonville and is both family-friendly and pet-friendly (complete with a pet food truck!). The event is focused on celebrating local cuisine, partnering with more than 20 of Jacksonville’s best local restaurants. The festival will also feature more than 60 wines, plus live art installations and music from five of the region’s best bands including The Band Be Easy and the Chris Thomas Band. To maintain the community-focused nature of the event, proceeds of the festival will benefit a number of charities including The Salvation Army, Vets 4 Vets, Fur Sisters, and more.
Things to Know
Though VIP passes are sold out, general admission is open to everyone. Once there, visitors can purchase samples of beer, wine, and food from the many participating vendors.
