Things to Do Year-round in Jacksonville

If you have never been to the Riverside Arts Market, we recommend it as an excellent place to start. Every Saturday, vendors congregate under the bridge boasting breathtaking jewelry, unique pieces of art and creative flavors. Enjoy the sounds of local entertainers as you browse the array of goodies the market has to offer.

Pay the Cummer Museum a visit on any Tuesday and receive free admission. This cultural hub located near Five Points always has something new and exciting happening such as their exclusive themed dinner parties. Here you can travel back in time as you learn about current exhibitions, dine, dance and more. With regular admission, you will have the opportunity to browse collections from renowned artists like Andy Warhol and explore the 2.5 acres of award-winning gardens.

Catch a film at Sun-Ray Cinema, whose history is a story itself. From boasting cutting edge technology over a century ago, transitioning into a live theater, night club and more, the cinema revisited its roots in 2011 under the new name Sun-Ray. Take the opportunity to enjoy modern box-office hits in a classical setting.

Stretch out and work on your Asana along the St. Johns River every Saturday at 9 a.m. This morning yoga class runs on a donation basis and is B-Y-O-M (bring - your - own -mat).
