You might have read our previous round up featuring local and regional news clippings about everyone’s favorite seafood shack…well, the critics keep having nice things to say about us!

From Orlando to Tennessee, from solo travelers to families, it’s all raves. Seriously, though, thank you to everyone who has shouted out our little seafood shack when visiting our gorgeous home on Amelia Island.

Chattanooga Pulse

Earlier this summer, our new friends from The Chattanooga Pulse tripped on down to Florida for some fun in the sun. Their weekend included a stop at Timoti’s Seafood Shak leaving them to write, “make sure to check out Slider’s Seafood Grille on the oceanfront and Timoti’s Seafood Shack. Both have incredible blackened shrimp and pretty affordable prices.”

We can confirm that Slider’s is awesome, too. It’s a great place to grab a bite to eat, listen to some live music, and enjoy an amazing ocean view.

Trip Advisor

Trip Advisor highlighted Amelia Island’s unique combination of southern hospitality and Florida sunshine. If you’ve ever heard the phrase “The further north in Florida you go, the further south you get”, we’re proud to say that we’re the inspiration for that!

Digging into the restaurants, they wrote, “There’s food for every taste and every type of trip. For instant family fun, hit some favorite playground-adjacent haunts like Timoti’s Seafood Shack.” Thanks, y’all!

Alex Pistorio

This one isn’t about us, but we had to include the shoutout for our friends at MacGregor’s Mini Links! Central Florida Family influencer Alex Pistorio broke for the coast for Mother’s Day and had a great time with her littles putting around our favorite mini golf course.

Marc Sebastian

Last, but certainly not least, is March Sebastian, who included a stop for some freshly fried seafood on his signature series: A Great American Gay Sidequest.

We’ve been big fans of Marc for a while and couldn’t have been more thrilled when we showed up on his feed. Go give this shark tooth hunter a follow for travel tips across the U.S.

Test the Waters for Yourself

You’ve heard the experts. Now it’s time to try our seafood baskets and sandwiches for yourself! We promise you won’t be disappointed.

If you get any pics of your visit, tag us in them. You just might make an appearance in our next edition of “Timoti’s in the News”.
