Timoti's In The News

From National Magazines to Viral Social Media Sensations

You’re probably tired of hearing us talk about how great the sustainable seafood is at Timoti’s Seafood Shak. We admit, we might be a little biased on this one.

Keeping that in mind, we thought we’d turn this blog over to some “guest writers” who have been posting amazing things about Timoti’s recently!

Southern Living Highlights Seafood Spots

Don’t be fooled by the mischievous headline (8 Seafood Dives in Florida Locals Don’t Want You to Know About); everyone is welcome at Timoti’s! Writer Skye Sherman drops a history lesson about the origins of shrimp fishing in Fernandina Beach and how Timoti’s is carrying on that tradition today.

Her biggest tip? “Their Cajun blackening blend is so good, you’ll want to bring it home—and the good news is you can.” (It’s true! You can buy it at both locations.)

You can read the full write-up on the Southern Living website.

News4JAX Promotes The Pavilion

We were honored to be included in the festivities of the Amelia Island Cookout this past fall. Local chefs and chefs from across the country came together over a fabulous weekend of food and frivolity. The event was led by the talented team at the Ritz-Carlton with one of the closing night events, an oyster roast, with food prepared by Timoti’s chefs and hosted by our friends at The Pavilion.

Talk Greenville visits Fernandina Beach

Renata Parker from Talk Greenville reviewed the best places to “stay, eat, and unwind” on the best island in the world. (Okay, she didn’t call Amelia Island the best island in the world, but we think it is!)

She highlighted Timoti’s as a “local favorite” where “the seafood is fresh-caught, and the vibe is flip-flop casual” alongside Fernandina Beach standouts like David’s, Burlingame, Mezcal, and Mocama.

You can read the article digitally at the Greenville News website.

Social Media Coverage

If you’ve been scrolling around Instagram or TikTok lately, there’s a chance you might have seen Fernandina Beach or even Timoti’s on your feed! We want to give a shoutout to these awesome people who have made Timoti’s a part of their trip to Fernandina.

We also want to give a shoutout to this video which showcases our friends at Duck Pinz and Café Karibo!
