What You Can Expect at Super Bowl 2023
It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year again; the Super Bowl! Every February marks one of the most watched sporting events in the United States, when the NFC champion faces off against the AFC champion in the final game of the NFL season.

The Super Bowl 2023 Rivalry
2023 marks the 57th Super Bowl, hence Super Bowl LVII. This year we have the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles. They will go head-to-head at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona—the home of the Cardinals.
Leading the Chiefs as their Quarterback is Patrick Mahomes, while Jalen Hurts heads the Eagles.
To give you a better idea of how exciting this game is expected to be, both teams have some nearly identical stats this season. Both teams have a 16-3 overall record this year. They also both scored a total of 546 points for the season. They even have the same number of All Pros with 6. Can you get any more evenly matched than this?
But wait, there’s more. If this is somehow not enough excitement for you, how about a sibling rivalry? For the first time ever in Super Bowl history, 2023 has brothers facing off against each other in the big game. Travis Kelce, tight end of the Chiefs, will battle it out with his brother, John Kelce, center for the Eagles.
Super Bowl 2023 Halftime Show
After the first half of the Super Bowl, you’ll go from screaming at the TV to singing along when the Apple Music Halftime Show begins. We’ll have Rihanna’s music on the brain as she takes the stage for an unforgettable performance.
It was announced back in September that Rihanna would be headlining the Halftime Show after a 6-year hiatus from new music. Any guesses as to what songs will be featured in her performance? No matter what she picks from her large 53-song discography, Rihanna is sure to break out something we all know the lyrics to, like “Umbrella”, or her newest song, “Lift Me Up.”
Commercials During Super Bowl LVII
Something we all look forward to during the Super Bowl are the memorable commercials. Who can forget the time Amazon’s Alexa lost her voice and had celebrities filling in for her? Remember the ridiculous Puppy Monkey Baby commercial?
The reason they are so unforgettable is because a single spot costs $7 million. With the high viewership that the Super Bowl brings in, it’s no surprise a spot costs that much.
Some of the commercials we can expect this year have already been teased. One of the advertisements you can expect is a Michelob Ultra commercial featuring Tony Romo. We can’t wait to see which commercials we will be talking about for years after Sunday’s game.
