As the holiday season twinkles into full swing, Ol’ Saint Nick has been spreading some Christmas cheer over Amelia Island, turning Gregor MacGregor’s Mini Links into a veritable winter wonderland. This isn’t your ordinary festive display; it’s a Christmas extravaganza that brings a whole new meaning to “putting” on a show!
Lighting Up the Fairways
Upon arrival, the first thing that will catch your eyes is the breathtaking array of lights. Thousands—maybe even millions, we didn’t count!—of twinkling, shimmering lights adorn every corner of the course. From the sparkling fairways to the whimsically lit clubhouse, each hole offers a unique, glowing challenge under the starry night sky.
Inflatable Delights and Decor Galore
You’ll discover festive surprises all throughout the course, featuring an array of inflatable Christmas characters and larger than life hand-painted gingerbread houses. Imagine putting your way past a jolly Santa Claus, a friendly reindeer, and—who’s that—why it’s Dr. Seuss’ the Grinch! The creativity doesn’t stop there; good luck splitting giant candy canes to sink a hole-in-one and other fun surprises that fill the air with the sweet scent of holiday spirit.
MacGregor’s Christmas Tournament
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 13th for a festive edition of our monthly tournament!
Our friends at BrewDog will be on hand with swag and a free sample of their seasonal “Hoppy Christmas” IPA for every contestant over 21.
We’ll also be putting together a prize basket for the best Christmas attire, so dig that ugly sweater out of the closet. Then, stick around for the Last Hour Power Hour with drink specials and complimentary food for everyone.
There’s no need to sign up in advance, just roll over to the festivities before the start at 7PM. There is an entry fee of $20 for each team of two golfers.
