Mark your calendars with our favorite events that will keep you entertained through all four seasons.

Restaurant Week

Every year, true foodies flock to town at the end of January to experience Amelia Island’s Restaurant Week. Throughout the 10-day culinary experience, those attending are exposed to different cuisines from some of the most popular spots in the area. From appetizers to entrees and desserts, there are events for each stage of the meal process. Don’t miss out on the chance to sample some of the most popular dishes at our sister restaurants Café Karibo and Baba’s Mediterranean!

The Amelia

Towards the end of February, Amelia Islands holds The Amelia (previously known as the Concours d’Elegance), where you’ll be able to participate in events such as the 40 Years of Hendrick Motorsports with Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and more, automobile auctions, test drives, and more. If you love to gawk at and talk about cars, then you won’t want to miss one of the world’s top automotive events.

Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival

You can’t plan a trip to the Florida coast without trying the wild-caught seafood! From May 3rd to May 5th, experience the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival, a family event that includes crafts, music, and many fun dishes made with locally caught shrimp right from Amelia Island.

When: May 3rd-5th, 2024

Fish to Fork 

Every spring, some of the country’s best chefs come together to compete in a unique culinary experience at the Fish to Fork Festival, located at the Omni Amelia Island Resort. The competition is fierce, as chefs must catch their own fish to provide for the meal while giving guests a front-row seat into the genius of their creations.

Jazz Festival

Looking to jazz up the fall? Join all the other cool cats and kittens for the annual Les DeMerle Amelia Island Jazz Festival from September 29th-October 6th, 2024. Not only will your ears thank you, but you’ll be able to participate in other events such as wine tastings, dancing, and Sunday brunch. Don’t want to wait to get your swing on? The Les DeMerle Orchestra will be performing at the Valentine’s Big Band Bash Benefit Gala on Saturday, February 10th, followed by jazz brunch with the Les DeMerle Quartet on Sunday, February 11th.

Island Hop Craft Beer Fest

The newest event to join the annual rotation on Amelia Island is the Island Hop Craft Beer Fest. While only one day, this festival highlighting local brewers and distillers is one that is not to be missed. While alcohol is at the forefront, this is a family-friendly event featuring local food trucks, vendors and local bands with some serious rock ‘n roll chops.

Dickens on Centre Festival

In December, close out the year with one of the biggest events on Amelia Island. The entire town transforms into a Victoria Christmas card for the Dickens on Centre Festival. From portraits with St. Nick to the Run Like the Dickens Fun Run, Dickens Enchanted Village, and the marquee Dickes After Dark gala, there is festive fun for all ages. Specific dates have yet to be announced for 2024, but pencil in the second weekend of December.
